Saudi Arabia's Al Ya’eesh wins both races

Saudi A. Aziz Al Ya’eesh confirmed his domination for the race weekend.

The first round of the Thunder Arabia Championship finished today, A. Aziz Al Ya’eesh from Saudi Arabia confirming his domination for the race weekend.

After securing the pole position for the first two races on Thursday, he went all the way to win the first place in the 2 races held yesterday at the Bahrain international circuit.

The Egyptian Ahmed Hamada, was the second consistent driver after winning the 2nd place in the 2 races.

The 3rd place was distributed between Raed Raffii from Bahrain winning 3rd in the first race, and Mustafa Al Khan winning 3rd in the second race.

The 4th place was dominated again for the 2 races by the American ed Mcalpin, who was so close to snitch the 3rd place form Mustafa Al Khan on the 2nd race, but a slight mistake prevented him from pursuing his quest.

"The race was very existing in general, we did not anticipate to have such a close race, from rookie drivers. The competition was really hot, and there was no way to determine who was going to win it. All the drivers had the same training and the same practice time in the cars." Said Hassan El Wardany, Thunder Arabia CEO.

“Now I can say, that it was really worth all the trouble we went through, when I saw the checkered flag being deployed announcing the end of the first Thunder Arabia race, I cried like a father who just heard the news of his new born child” he added.

(as well as) the Bahrain TV... broadcasting the 2 days live, and doing it as professional as you can ever get".
