Fiorano... Mansory Renovatio, Bel Air
PR, 24 April 2008.
Known as a specialist for
customising Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce
automobiles, Mansory has now tackled three top luxury
and sports cars references: the Ferrari 599 GTB
Fiorano, Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupé and the McLaren
With luxurious and sporty
modifications, the company from Brand in Bavaria,
Germany, shows its own understanding of customising
Italian as well as German and... British super luxury
and / or super sports cars.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano -
Based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the Mansory
Stallone optimises the performance of the car from
Maranello, cutting the sprint zero to 100 kph sprint
by two tenths of a second, compared to the series
version (3.7 seconds), on its way to a top speed of
340 kph, where legal and objective conditions permit.
Thus the modification, called the
Stallone, fills the gap to the fast, 350 kph sports
car brother, the Ferrari Enzo.
The engine components newly
developed by the Mansory technicians come in a
performance kit which includes high-performance
compressors and custom made intercooling.

for the Stallone.
The supercharging of the V12
powertrain is supported by a sport air filter with
higher air throughput as well as modified control
This increases the performance of
the large 6.0 litre twelve cylinder engine from 620 to
720 HP. Torque is increased by an additional 92 Nm.
The sport rear muffler made of stainless steel
underscores the sporty appearance of the Mansory
Stallone with its impressive sound.
To accommodate the increased performance, the company
developed especially light forged wheels with a 9 x 20
inch size for the front axle and 11.5 x 21 inch
for the back axle. At only 13 kg for one of the front
axle rims, the Mansory wheel is one of the best
light forged wheels: 9 x 20 / 11.5 x
21 inch front / back.
By using weight-saving aluminium
alloys and with the resulting reduction of the
unsprung mass, the acceleration, breaking distance as
well as the handling are improved considerably.

Additionally, the Mansory Stallone
is given its optical finishing touch by the
uplift-reducing aerodynamics kit made of carbon. This
material is already used amply in the base model of
the Fiorano. Here, Mansory goes one step further and
uses carbon with the highest surface quality for all
of its chassis components.

structure is a downforce generating front end with
special air intakes for ventilating the new
The Mansory side skirts stabilise
the airflow between the axles and give the vehicles an
aggressive sporty look. The newly designed rear with
the integrated diffuser also stabilise the rear axle
and provide the necessary extra downforce on the
driven rear wheels. The Mansory Stallone brings an
even more individual flair through the side flared
pedals and redesigned steering wheel.
Inside, the most exquisite
materials, processed with traditional craftsmanship
distinguish the interior of the Stallone. The leather
used for the interior is particularly durable, yet
very soft. The unique grain of the unusual leather
combined with the stylish ornamental seams and the
exposed carbon appliqués convey both elegance as well
as sportiness in the interior.
Masterful handiwork, individual
styling, and the highest quality is found wherever one
chooses to look. The pedals made of aluminium, the
illuminated door entry strips and the ergonomically
redesigned sport steering wheel create additional
Drophead Coupé, with Mansory touches.
Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupé
- Right on time for the start of the open-top motoring
season in Europe, Mansory is presenting the
convertible known as Bel Air on the basis of the
Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupé.
Named after the classy district of
Los Angeles, the Bel Air spreads luxury as far as the
eye can see. Even in the production version, this car
belongs to the most exclusive money can buy.
Mansory, however, goes its own way
here and customises the Rolls-Royce with a refinement
package that includes a completely newly developed
extravagant body-styling kit as well as prominent
mirror-finished aluminium wheel rims. A technical
highlight is the high performance brake system
developed in collaboration with Brembo.

The design vocabulary of the
production vehicle is retained and, as such, the body
styling kit from PU-RIM material designed by Mansory
for the high-class boulevards of the world’s most
luxurious destinations is not obtrusive. Perfect
workmanship and harmonious styling are the hallmarks
of the newly designed apron adorning the impressive
Rolls-Royce front end.

The Bel Air comes with single-piece
mirror-finished wheels with nine twin-spoke design.
The forged construction makes the wheel rims
exceptionally light compared with conventional cast
wheels. The resulting reduction of unsprung weight
significantly improves the acceleration as well as the
stopping distance and handling. To ensure that this

In collaboration with Brembo, the
world’s leading manufacturer of high-performance
brake systems, Mansory has developed a brake system
that is specially tuned to the modified needs of the
Bel Air. Optimised deceleration and perfect metering
of the pedal pressure are now provided by 6-piston
callipers in conjunction with 412 mm diameter discs at
the front in addition to 4-piston callipers with 380 mm
diameter discs at the rear.
The stylish interior of the Bel Air
is created using only sophisticated materials.
Extravagant design products such as the extremely soft
design leather with its characteristic grain ensure a
sense of comfort and exceptional flair, with expertly
crafted carbon and natural wood appointments.
Diamond-stitched decorative seams on the dashboard and
seats add further visual accents. The aluminium
pedals, the illuminated door sill trims and the new
ergonomically designed airbag steering wheel complete
the striking overall appearance.
Benz SLR McLaren, rejuvenated by
Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren -
Since 2004, McLaren has been producing the Mercedes
Benz SLR McLaren in Woking, England, in almost
unaltered form. Mansory, presented last month at the
2008 Geneva motor show, the gull wing racer in a new
design, under the Renovatio designation. Not only did
the bodywork get a facelift, the engine was also given
modified supercharging by means of Mansory compressor
technology. Ultra-light forged wheels and a

During the development of the
Renovatio, both individual design and aerodynamic
efficiency were addressed. To save weight, Mansory
fashioned its body components out of carbon. The
production car body is also made out of this extremely
light and resilient material.

One component of the body kit is
the front apron in dynamic sport design. It channels
the airstream to the custom-designed intercoolers of
the performance kit and so ensures extra cooling air.
The new side skirts constitute the optical link
between the front and rear wheel arch extensions.
These calm the airstream between the axles and create
space for the outlets of the side pipe exhaust system.

The leading idea was not about
making major changes to the SLR’s core. Rather,
existing components were swapped for modified
developments by Mansory itself. For example, use is
made of new high performance compressors and
The finishing touches to the
performance upgrade are a sports air filter and
modified engine management.
As a result the Renovatio is two
tenths faster from zero to 100 km/h than the
production model. Top speed increases to 340 kph.
Following the alterations the Renovatio has 700 PS and
generates 880 Nm torque on the crankshaft.
Mansory provides a special
wheel-tyre combination in exclusive design for the
Renovatio. The one-piece turbine-wheels with five
double-spokes, 9 x 20 at the front and 11.5 x 20 at
the rear, are impressive thanks to their sporting
looks and superior workmanship. Here too, the
reduction of the unsprung mass due to the especially
light forged wheels improves braking distance,
acceleration and handling. For maximum wheel grip
Mansory uses 255/30 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres at the
front and 325/25 at the rear.
Like the Stallone and the Bel Air,
the very best materials have been used in the
Renovatio interior. The leather processed by master
craftsmen is also both hard-wearing and soft. This
characteristic natural product with its special grain
and the perfect craftsmanship of its decorative
stitching convey an extravagant flair around the
redesigned airbag sports steering wheel. The aluminium
pedals, illuminated door tread plates and real carbon
applications complete the luxurious overall impression
within the Renovatio.
