passenger vehicle for 5 adults.
20 January 2011: At
this year's Geneva International Motor Show (the 81st, with public days
from 3 to 13 March, at the Geneva Palexpo exhibition and conference

The Japanese brand says that the "Concept Global Small

passenger vehicle that is planned for production in March of 2012 at the
MMC's new third factory in Thailand".
The main features of this compact
passenger vehicle should include good manoeuvrability,
affordability and easy operation in a body that can seat five adults, with
high fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions in the mid-90g/km range.
Key elements of the promised efficiency and low
emissions reside in the usage of an idling stop mechanism (stop and start),
a 1.0 Ė 1.2L class compact engine with a regenerative braking system,
weight reduction to the most complex parts, reduced running resistance in
the engine, the new-generation CVT (continuously variable transmission),
the brakes and tyres, as well as a body with reduced aerodynamic resistance.
